Psychoeducational Assessments in CT

I offer thorough psychoeducational and psychological assessments to help you better understand your child and access the right support.

If your child is putting in the effort but still struggling academically, your child may qualify for accommodations, such as an IEP or extra time for standardized testing.

To ensure accurate, comprehensive evaluations, I use the the latest cognitive, academic, and and psychological assessments, such as the WISC-V.

Each evaluation includes detailed feedback and practical recommendations you can actually use. Book a consultation to discover how an evaluation can help your student reach their full potential.

Diagnostic Evaluations

An accurate diagnosis is the cornerstone of successful treatment. A psychiatric evaluation provides clarity and insight into your unique challenges. Whether you're seeking answers for ADHD, anxiety, depression, or trauma, I use evidence-based assessment protocols developed over years of academic and VA training to ensure a precise and thorough assessment.

Services include:

  • ADHD Evaluations

  • Autism Assessments

  • Trauma/PTSD Assessments

  • Diagnostic Clarification

Take control of your future—schedule your psychological evaluation and begin the path to meaningful change.

What to Expect from the Assessment Process

Step 1: Interview

All assessments begin with a diagnostic interview conducted via video. During this meeting, we will review your background, current concerns, and prior treatment history. We will also discuss your goals for the evaluation and any accommodations you may be seeking.

Step 2: Testing

Based on the information gathered during the diagnostic interview, the testing phase may range from approximately 3 to 6 hours. Testing sessions can be scheduled across multiple days to accommodate your availability. In some cases, interviews with parents, partners, or friends may also be included. Most assessments can be completed remotely.

Step 3: Feedback

All assessments conclude with a feedback session to review the results of the evaluation. During this meeting, you will receive a comprehensive written report summarizing the findings and addressing your original questions and concerns. Feedback sessions are typically scheduled within 10 days of completing the testing phase.
