About Dr. Aliya Webermann
I hold extensive experience treating trauma, anxiety, neurodevelopmental differences and providing comprehensive assessment.
My approach combines clinical rigor with genuine human connection. I believe effective therapy should feel both supportive and purposeful—helping you understand what’s happening and giving you the tools to move forward. I have a decade of experience using gold-standard, evidence-based cognitive and behavioral-based therapies.
I am a queer, White, Jewish, US-born, cisgender woman (she/her/hers pronouns), and the proud mom of a wonderful little boy. I pursued psychology because of formative experiences working in an intimate partner violence shelter. I completed my formative clinical training working with women and LGBTQIA+ veterans with PTSD. Participating in my own therapy and other healthcare (e.g., acupuncture) makes me a better therapist. In my spare time I enjoy watching reality TV, reading, hanging out with my two cats, and getting outdoors.
I am a Yale-trained Connecticut-based licensed clinical psychologist.
